I had dinner with a couple friends this evening. One of them was on the list of people I sent support letters to. During the course of the evening, she asked me an interesting question: "Could I just give you like $25 toward your trip? Is that even worth it?" My answer was a resounding "Yes", but I also realized this was an opportunity to encourage her as well. The cool thing about raising support is giving people the opportunity to trust God and give Him what they have. Twenty-five dollars may not seem like alot when compared to what I have to raise, but it's what she can afford. And ultimately, what's more important to me (and to God) is that she's willing to give what she can.

With that said, I'd like to encourage you as you consider supporting me for this trip. View this as an opportunity to step out in faith as God leads you. Remember the story of the woman who gave her only two pennies? Her desire to give what she had to for God's glory made her pennies so much more valuable. Obviously I need your financial support, but I desire more to see your relationship with God grow as you give what you can to further

His kingdom. Every penny counts, and I'm just as grateful for the "small" donations as I am for the "large" ones.
