So I had a huge freak out moment yesterday afternoon when I discovered that the cost for a visa has gone up from $165 to $420!  It suddenly hit me on Friday (July 20) that in two months I would be in England.  And then I started thinking about all the stuff that needs to happen between now and then, not the least of which is to see a pretty large amount of money be contributed.  I still need in $5700 in contributions and pledges in order for AIM to let me go on this trip.  And then I need at least another $2000 to cover the visa, medical insurance, and plane tickets.  I know God has resources beyond my imagination, but I'm having trouble seeing where this money is going to come from.  I called my parents in tears (they're on vacation), and we figured some things out, and I calmed down a bit...

Please pray that God would help me to trust Him completely to make this trip happen.  Please pray that I would do what I need to do to make this trip happen.  Also, I just discovered that I am the only female on my team (others have changed trips or decided not to go); there will be female AIM staff members there, but please pray that God will help me and my brothers to develop and maintain unity.
