1. We’re heading to Wales this weekend for a retreat with some of the Christian young adults in Manchester. Please pray for safe travel to and from the retreat. Also, that God would just be present and make His presence felt there. This is one of very few opportunities that the young adults have to come together to fellowship and grow, so pray that this would be a fruitful weekend, and that God would work through us to encourage these folks in their faith.
2. We’ve been sharing some lovely germs among the members of our household. Sore throats, coughs, and even some flu-like symptoms have been the complaint as it moves from person to person. Right now, Robby and I seem to be the “sick ones”. Please pray for quick healing, for energy, and for those who are currently healthy to remain so.
3. My friend Jeremy went back to the hospital last week. His pain had returned, and his doctor recommended going to Hershey Med (one of the better hospitals in our area) or Johns Hopkins for observation. He chose Hershey Med where doctors decided they should run some more tests to see what else (beyond the parasite) might be causing the problems. I haven’t had any updates since hearing that, but I’m sure Jeremy would appreciate your continued prayers for an end to all of this and the recovery of his strength and energy.
