We had our Christmas party for the Chimp Chillers (the youth group at St. Andrews Church) tonight.  It was a lot of fun hanging out with the kids, eating Indian food (a new favorite for me!), and opening presents.  Last Friday we made “tacky” Christmas decorations for the party, but the room looked quite lovely.  Here are a few pictures from the evening:

Steve and Ruth (our fearless leaders) and Jarred (he’s the one with the red nose)

Our Christmas tree… with a few gifts underneath

Me, Jarred, and Andrea… the Blackley Team… in our Christmas colors

A Christmas cracker… two people pull (one on each end) and when it comes apart, there are toys inside! 🙂

This is Ian (the vicar from St. Andrews) wearing the plastic mustache he got in his Christmas cracker.  I was only allowed to include this photo if I said that this was our serious vicar in an unusual moment of hilarity.  I’ll leave you to decide whether or not that statement is true.

  1. Jarred, I wash my hands of you.
Ian looks nothing like Hitler (although the red-eye doesn’t help). I am handing in notice of watching your ass and going up to Blackley to look after that wonderful vicar Ian Fellows who lives there.
    Good luck without me…

  2. It is so awesome that you have gotten that oppurtunity at Blackley. I will try not to act jealous 🙂 I’m glad things seem to be going well with it. Ian looks so funny, and poor Jarred.
